Obituary
Jerome A Robinson was born on April 26, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA, the son of Edna and the late Jerome Robinson Sr. He was the devoted husband of Delores and father of Taylor. At an early age he was baptized at Mount Sinai Baptist Church in Lansdowne, PA.

Jerome graduated from Yeadon High School and pursued further studies at the Lewis Institute of Art, the Hussain School of Art, Delaware Community College, and the Philadelphia College of Art. Upon graduation, he taught at Overbrook High School for the Blind. Among his many accomplishments, he served as Poetry Director of Longmarch Coffee House, was co-founder of the Readers and Writers Showcase at London's, and Painting and Drawing Instructor at the Lewis Institute of Art. He also was employed by the Government, performing technical drawings. Many years of his adult life were spent assisting his father in the family construction business while pursuing an avid interest in art. His works as an artist evolved from large canvas paintings to metal sculpture. In fact, his sculptures had just begun to receive recognition by local connoisseurs. Noteworthy are several sculptures that were purchased by Patti LaBelle a little over a year ago. Jerome was also known for his poetry and poetry readings throughout the region.

Jerome's overwhelming passion was the motorcycle club, The Wheels of Soul, founded in Philadelphia, PA nearly 30 years ago. He served the Club in several capacities and was owner of a tattoo shop across the street from the clubhouse, near 61st and Market Streets in Philadelphia.

Jerome is lovingly remembered by his family and many friends as a devoted husband, father, painter, sculptor, poet, well-respected member of the Wheels of Soul, entrepreneur, and friend. Most of all, he was an introspective, thoughtful, caring, spiritual, soulful man ~a seeker of the truth and knowledge~ "A Man For All Seasons". He leaves behind his wife Delores, daughter Taylor, his mother Edna, a brother Arthur, a niece Michelle, other relatives, his Wheels of Soul family, many friends, and others whose lives were touched by this Prince among men. He will be held in our hearts forever.
